Entry for `Charmandarz huge Villain Collaboration.

A friend of mine asked me if I'd join and told me to sign up with Kazama... and so I did. Not too long after I got the green light, I learned about what happens in Saitou's Route. I couldn't help but wondering "Why did I sign up to draw him?!?"
He's a great character, really. And his Voice Actor (Kenjirō Tsuda) does such an amazing job at portraying either side of him. He really manages to get you to shrivel up before him by just his voice (as the novel contains non-moving images). Give him that white horse already!

He was quite fun to draw and colour. But I didn't know what outfit to give him. Thanks to the poll on dA and asking around my friends, I settled for the one he wears at the very end of Hakouki - Demon of the Fleeting Blossom / Hekketsuroku. It's something else than all the long-haired, traditionally-clad Samurai I've been drawing lately. *chuckles*
The pattern is based on the official art. There's no way I could copy that exactly. @_@ Thank god it's just a simple one (compared to Okita's or Hijikata's).
